Services for Seniors

The tax freeze incentive helps senior citizens by freezing the property tax amount on their primary residence for subsequent years.

This benefit was established by Act 6 of June 16, 1987, and the same states that the persons who meet the following conditions are entitled to it:

• Men aged 65 or older and women aged 60 and older. This applies to Panamanian citizens and foreign residents in Panama.
• Retirees or pensioners in Panama.
